The Marked (4.6)

(written 7/22/07)

7:10

-Excellent opener! The black & white movie was lame but hilarious. Even more hilarious when we saw Diana, Tom, and the Theory room guys just watching it.

-Curtis Peck is a trip. So his ability allows him to make movies on conspiracies, how cool.

-Cassie led Jordan's team to a bomb shelter- nice. Glad Collier trusts Kyle & his ability

7:20

-OMG! I cannot believe it: 10 bad future entities have embodied the lives of ordinary people and their plan is to continue on the path of destruction.

-While Isabelle was meant to be the weapon of the future, it would seem that she did do right in killing Matthew.

-I am loving this Curtis Peck character

-An "X" behind the left earlobe tells if they are one of the marked. Very interesting place to insert the entity. Makes it difficult to track.

-This whole thing adds even more questions though. I don't mind. I like that there are more questions!

7:31

-This is crazy, I don't know who to trust anymore! It's hard to tell who may be one of the marked and who won't be.

-Great meeting with Shawn, Kyle, Isabelle, & Collier. Was glad to see that Shawn told Jordan about Maia's vision on Hewitt.

-And Tom on a psych hold, geeze!

-I can't believe Doyle turned over the e-mail. I mean I know it's her job but she didn't even think of the reprocutions

7:40

-We saw Marco's apartment! He's got a very nice place- it's more like a studio but I love it.

-I love Curtis, he seems very cool. And I love his ability! The same thing happens to me: I get ideas stuck in my head and don't know the ending until I finish the story. I might as well have that ability

-Tough break for Doyle & Skouris. Diana feels like she was betrayed & Doyle feels terrible about what happened since she didn't think the government would do that to Tom.

-What was Tom injected with? And who were those guys? Agents of "The Marked"?

7:50

-I can't believe this, the Marked so got to Curtis!!! The car wouldn't have driven offf that fast if it hadn't been them.

-Intense arguement between Collier and Shawn. I really enjoyed it though. And now it's 100% clear as to where Shawn stands and it's not with Jordan and the movement.

-So Marco recites song lyrics when he's stuck. Nice to know something about him

-I loved the moment when Diana picked Tom up from the hospital and how Tom was telling her that they must have done something to him. I just loved the fear in Diana's eyes. Another great sign of just how much their friendship means.

8:00

-Okay stupid, stupid, stupid, Shawn! Why did he heal Hewitt? Hewitt is supposed to be the one who gets involved with those Promicin prison camps so you'd think Shawn would be happy that Hewitt has been stopped.

-Only question, if it wasn't Jordan who was involved in Hewitt's stroke who was it? It couldn't have been the Marked could it- that just doesn't make sense considering what they are out trying to do. Could it possibly be the good people from the future? That seems to be my guess but time will tell as it always does

-NO!!!! They made Tom and agent of the Marked. The bad people are messing up everything!
-Loved the sentimental moment between Kyle & Collier

End Notes
-On my scale I am definately rating this episode a 10+ !

-I really love the direction that they are taking with the show.

-And the whole thing with the Marked taking over ordinary humans- love it!!!

-I just can't believe Tom is one of them now. He sure is being pulled in two directions: Cassie and the book need him to take Promicin and now the bad people of the future are going to use him as a vessel. Wonder how Tom will be saved from this one?

-Great acting, great directing, great dialogue, great general direction!

-Look forward to another amazing episode next week [considering I didn't see the trailer or read spoilers but seeing as how season 4 has been a fun ride so far, I only expect great things in future episodes!]

Try the Pie (4.5)

(Written July 15th)

7:05
- All ready loving the opener!
-Glad to see Cassie back. She has become one of my favorite new characters.
-Poor Maia: when she told Diana the dream, I was in near tears. Nice of her to show her mom the pictures. I always love when her journals come into play. They are like a character too.
-And her dream was scary!
-Great symbolism: those P bracelets made me think of Hitler and what he did to the Jews by forcing the Jewish stars on them
-Wishing Tom had told Di that Kyle was Promicin Positive
-OMG, Cassie lead Kyle & Isabel to Jordan Collier! I wonder what Collier will do to them?
-Look forward to more!

7:18
-Okay what is going on in that town?
-Do they get an ability by eating that pie?
-I'm starting to think that Maia's nightmares are the future: the one Collier talked about: how there was a walled city and only certain people were let in. Can it be that the only people being let in are 4400s and P Positives and that the walled city is actually a prison?
-Poor Diana: the theory room guys are not really at her side. She wants to try to stop Maia's nightmares but they want her to have more so they can be analyzed.

7:28
-Wow, the entire town took Promicin! I'm surprised no one died from the shot (that we know of anyway)
-I'm loving these Kyle/Jordan moments
-Maia drinking one of those heavy sports drinks to stay awake- guess she is grown up, isn't she. And not just in that aspect but in other ways as well; like she said, she is no longer a little kid anymore. Where have the years gone?!
-Nasty burn on Tom's hand! Ouch!
-Wonder what Collier will do with Tom?

7:41
-Great Diana/Shawn moment. I'm glad she told him about Maia's dreams. We rarely get moments of the two of them together. It would be fun if Maia actually went in to tell him though. We only had a couple of Patrick/Conchita moments and that was back in season 2! I would really like if they had a couple more scenes together.
-So there is promicin in the pie! I think that's really cool. To be able to share one mind like that to help bring people closer together.
-Ha, Tom as a little kid! That was great.
-And I loved the "Anxiety Extractor" ability. Definately could come in handy. And I have to comment on the rock (since I'm a rock collector). Really loved that one.
-Tom and Kyle finally meet again after Tom took those little "tests". Awesome!

7:50
-OMG! I cannot believe that Kyle forced Promicin on his own father! I just did not believe he was capable of betraying him like that. And then to just stand by and watch.
-It was sad to see the tear in his eye.
-Ha, Shawn said exactly my thoughts on Hewitt about him turning into a grown Hitler
-Glad to see more of Heather Tobey. She has always been very cool.
-Tom can't die from the shot, there is no way! He's needed too much.
-Man I am loving this episode!

8:00
-I got scared for a moment: they used a sedative on Tom instead of the actual Promicin as a way for them to escape. Glad to see Kyle couldn't go through with it- I just knew he really would be able to.
-When Shawn confronted Hewitt, for a second I thought Shawn was going to use his ability and kill him
-I loved what Collier did with the town: turning into a practice ground for the future utopia (should it ever exist)

Favorite Quotes
"Your father knows you took the Promicin shot"- Cassie

"I was guided to her the same way I was guided to you."- Kyle

"I'm nobody's religious nut."- Kyle

"She didn't break any laws. She's a 4400, she didn't take Promicin"- Diana (commenting on Maia)

"Religions, religions unite."- Collier

"He's my father and he's the last name on the list."-Kyle
"Your father has to take the shot? Interesting."- Collier

"Why do you call me 'sweetie' whenever I'm upset? I'm not a little kid anymore."- Maia

"Hello Tom, welcome to my town."- Collier
"What is this place?"- Tom
"It's a model for a better world"- Collier

"If helping you is a way to do that, I'm willing to try."- Isabelle

"If you want to stay here, if you want to live with me, you have to take the shot."- Kyle

"I know I haven't said this to you in a long time but I love you."- Kyle (to his father)

"There is a home for all of you, we're going to Seattle."- Collier

End Notes
-Overall I thought this episode rocked! It played out so well.
-Some great interractions: Tom & Collier, Kyle & Collier
-And that Utopia town was cool. A little freaky but cool
-The only thing I hope for is that Collier turns his revolution into some kind of religion and not a cult
-I am rating this episode a 10+
-Season 4, I think you just might out do my favorite season (3)
-Look forward to more great episodes!

The Truth & Nothing But the Truth (4.4)

(written July 8th)

7:05

-Wahoo, April is back! What happened to her grungy tattoo artist looks? Regardless, she looked great (and evil and freaky) !

-A truth ability, how sweet! That's one that I've always wanted to have.

-And Kyle helping Isabelle?! What the heck is up with that?! I can't wait for more of them together though.

-Di finally found April. Things should get interesting, especially with April's ability.

7:19

-Oh man, this episode rocks!

-NTAC questioning if Kyle was the one to give Shawn the extra Promicin boost. That can only mean bad news, especially once Washington gets involved.

-Kyle lying to his father about it, I don't know, I think he's put himself in a bind. Glad to see the guilty look on his face though once he stepped outside.

-Ben shaved his beard. I guess I can get used to that. I don't blame him for pressuring Diana though. He just wants her to be happy like she was when they were in Spain.

-I'm glad that Di is hesitant though. I think she finally realizes how much she missed her job (and Tom) and she doesn't want to leave.

-Didn't expect Collin to get shot. If anything I thought he would steal all of the stuff April bought and leave her hanging dry.
7:27

-So that was the favor Tom asked of Marco: to test the hair sample and see if it was positive for Promicin. Still can't believe Tom did that to Kyle. He's gonna freak (they both will: Tom for finding out the truth about his son & Kyle for finding out his father knows)

-And I still can't believe the Senator wants Shawn to run for city council. It's so good because as Kyle said, it will put the 4400 on the map. The downside is that the Senator wants Shawn on it so he can go against Collier.

-Glad Diana confided in Tom about April. She needed to get it off her chest. And once again, another great example of how much their friendship has grown.

7:39

-I am confused about Isabelle onces again (I was confused about her in season 3 and now again in season 4.) This is fun! I like being confused because it makes the show even better. They give us choices and they don't decide for us.

-Shawn Farrell vs. Jordan Collier. Things are sure going to get interesting.

-I can't believe people in the Pentagon have a lot to do with the black mailing. Sure does put that age old question back into play: Can we trust our government? (the obvious answer being no)

-Definately a great episode so far!

-And I love the pairing up with Tom, Diana, and April and how they've become an investigative team to find out the truth about what happened to Collin.

7:48

-Man this is awesome!

-Kyle & Shawn had a blow out, how sweet! I do see things from Kyle's point of view though: Shawn is a traitor. I support the 4400 and the Promicin Positives so I do not agree with what Shawn is doing. And Kyle is right because Shawn is a traitor to Collier and to himself. Shawn is a 4400 and he's pretty much going against the whole thing! He so did not deserve to be taken.
-Shawn may not be under Collier's control but now he's under the control of the Senator and he can't even see that.

-I do admit I like where Shawn's storyline is going though. It's very interesting and a nice way to go (despite not even knowing where the writers are taking this).

-Poor April, having to be taken in by NTAC after getting a confession out of the guy. At least she didn't seem angry at Diana.

8:00

-Okay I absolutely loved Diana's little blow out to Tom and Doyle! It was so hilarious as to how she was ranting on and on and not letting Doyle get a word in until finally Diana stopped her ranting and Doyle told Di that they would be hiring April instead of having her go to prison.

-How cool is it that April has a job at NTAC now?! I thought that was really an awesome deal. She will have a job as well as use her ability. She's got her own personal body guards, a decent salary, health benefits, and a seperate salary for clothes. I'm glad that April is now happy and has something good going on in her life.

-I was sad for Diana and Ben. I really hope Maia's vision comes true and they get married but now I'm starting to have doubts. Which I guess now is okay since I squealed so badly during the scene where April asked Tom if he had ever had sexual fantasies about Diana. (my Tom & Diana shipperness shows!) And the look on Di's face was priceless!

-I can't believe Isabelle was able to translate the book. At least now we know that it wasn't future humans who wrote it.

-Tom is supposed to take the shot! I couldn't believe it! He can't die right? Please I hope not.
-And the father: who could that really be? God? or something else?

End Notes

-I am rating this episode a 10+ ! It really deserves it!

-Jacqui and Natasha work great along side each other.

-And Natasha's acting was incredible. I've liked her since she was first brought on and her acting skills were great but tonight her acting just completely blew me out of the water!

-Way to go to the other actors as well. Everyone did a tremendous job!

- And to Scott Peters: Without you and your brilliant mind, I would probably watching something boring at 7 pm on my Sunday nights. Congrats and beyond terrific job in directing tonight's episode. It was truly an amazing ride!

-I look forward to more of "The 4400" to come!

Audrey Parker has Come & Gone

(written July 1st, 2007)

7:05
-Sweet little opening. I like Ms. parker, she seems like a kind and gentle elderly lady.

-Sad that she lived her life alone (then again, it's a life I picture myself living so...)

-Astral projection, must be nice to get the chance to live life twice, especially since she's back to being young again.

-Smart that she is posting her blog and whenever it gets shut down she posts it up again. Goes to show she will not be supressed.

-Not certain about Doyle though since she wants Parker to be stopped even though she's harmless.

-Fun to see Diana's attitude and going against Doyle. It's a side we never really got to see much of in previous seasons, so I'm liking this other side of her. You know she had a happy life in Spain and now she's had to come back to Seattle and look for April. I can understand why she's irrated on being back so I don't blame her attitude at all. Afterall, she is only being human- I'm sure each of us can relate one way or another.

7:19
-Enjoying the episode.

-I think I'm starting to like Doyle a little more for some reason. Guess she's growing on me.

-That was good of Tom to stay and let her talk about her father. The after hours part, not so sure about.

-Knew Doyle would want Shawn to heal her father but it makes sense since he has been that way for ten years. Sad that DC said no (go figure).

-Great for Shawn to recruit Heather Tobey. It was so great to see her again. I've always liked her.

-Hope he gets the Center open.

-Ben & Maia are back!!! Yae!!! I was so thrilled for their return, I thought it wouldn't be for another few episodes, glad it was sooner. Nice of them to surprise Diana. Very sweet of the both of them to check in on Maia as she was sleeping- I was reminded of how much I love their relationship (Ben & Diana's and Diana & Maia's).

-Aw how sad, Ms. Parker died. I bet it was the art manager that killed her.

-Gosh Kyle, a $100 dollar donation, a little much. Then again he did just steal the book. I'm glad though I was dying to know what else was in there.

7:30
-Sweet, Audrey is communicating from the dead!

-Good thing Ben saved the message (see he did something right!)

-Shawn is really crossing some lines by wanting to re-open the Center and with Heather by his side. He's doing a great job though, proving to the world that they will not be silenced. I can only imagine what Jordan Collier will do once he finds out about Shawn's return. Don't really think Shawn is going to be wanting to get into bed with Collier any time soon (so to speak).

-I'm surprised Audrey is hauting Diana and not TOm since they were working on the case together.

-Way to go Marco for doing his geek thing in cracking through the static from the phone messages.

7:39
-I like this episode. It's starting to slow down a bit but it's good.

-Head of NTAC going to meet Shawn personally, I'm impressed. Something Jarvis never did, granted Doyle has a personal motive but still.

-Smart move on Shawn's part to ask Doyle what her personal position was. I really wish she had answered but it was also good of her to not answer since she needs to trust him first.

-I like that Audrey is hanging around Diana; like when she was interrogating Wilson and the machine went haywire.

7:48
-OMG! Lucas killed Ms. Parker- I never even thought of considering him, he totally slipped passed my radar.

-Kyle better meet Cassie at 2 a.m. I don't want her to go away. I wonder what's going to happen at the location she mentioned?

-Shawn got arrested, I knew that was coming since he was taking a big risk by trying to heal people.

-Look forward to the rest of the episode.

8:00
-What an awesome ending!

-Way to go Tom for saving Shawn's skin- must be nice to flash that NTAC badge around.

-OMG! Isabelle has escaped custody and Kyle was the one that caught her! I cannot believe that just happened. I actually screamed outloud and had to cover my mouth so I could hear what was going on.

-Heather Tobey in Shawn's office, that's a nice change.

-Aw how sweet of Diana & Ben to be dancing in the kitchen and listening to Audrey Parker's favorite song. I thought that moment between them was sweet. I will admit I was half expecting Maia to come into the room and give another of her one of her visions. (Why did I have to think of the season 2 ender with Diana and Marco? Bad me!)

Favorite Quotes
-"I'll go put on the riot gear. Tom get the tear gas."- Diana

-"Well at least you're an educated tyrant."- Audrey Parker

-"In the mean time, we're trying to be a family and families don't live on seperate continents."- Ben

-"Now I'm sorry, it's time to let this go."- Tom to Diana

-"I'm sorry, Audrey."- Diana

-"Nothing changes on its own and besides you said you didn't want to be alone."- Heather Tobey

-"His name's Donald, he's my father. I'd be grateful if you could help him."- Megahan Doyle

-"I all ready know what she's saying: she's saying goodbye."- Diana

End Notes
-One other thing: Cassie is Kyle's ability but I just thought she was apart of him like his subconcious or something. How did she know about that acr accident at 2 a.m. and how did she know Isabelle Tyler would be in the van? Just what exactly would you call Kyle's ability anyway?

-I was going to rate this episode a 9 flat but after the ending, it's made it's way up to a 10.

-When they said season 4 was going to be one of the best yet, they sure meant it!

-Way to go to the writers, the cast, and the rest of the crew of "The 4400". I look forward to next week!
